Of all the hats I wear, this one is quite special to me.

Intimacy Coordination, Direction, and Choreography

Experienced in film, television, live theatre, and the classroom, this is one of my deepest passions in the performing arts. Creating a space where performers of all abilities and backgrounds feel safe to be their most vulnerable is what I aim for every time I step into the room as an Intimacy Coordinator or Director. Together, we can work to masterfully craft the story you want to tell, all while making our best better.

Intimacy Director or Intimacy Coordinator?

Which might you need for your project? Intimacy direction refers to work done for theatre or live performance, and intimacy coordination refers to work done for television and film. These terms were originally derived from their choreographed violence counterparts – fight directors work in live performance while stunt coordinators work in television and film. The term “intimacy professional” is often used as a catch-all term and can be applied to all areas of entertainment. (Definitions taken from IDC Professionals.)
